Situated approximately 60km south of Kuala Lumpur,
Port Dickson's easy accessibility has made it the favourite weekend
retreat of KL residents. Frequent buses, coaches, commuter trains
and taxis ply between Port Dickson and Kuala Lumpur.


Port Dickson covers some 18km of almost unbroken
coastline - one of the longest in Malaysia. A distinctive feature
of Port Dickson is the main coastal road which runs parellel to
the coastline allowing visitors to catch spectacular views of the
coastline and the sea. Port Dickson provides a range of accommodation
facilities to suit varying budgets. Some popular stretches of beach
include Teluk Kemang and the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon stretch
is so named because of its distinctive little coves. with sandy
beaches and clear blue waters.
Taman Aman, a public park situated at the
4th mile coastal road provides excellent amenities for family outings.
The park offers budget accommodation, a camping ground, picnic grounds
and barbeque pits, changing facilities and watersports facilities.

Sri Menanti Sri Menanti, the royal town
of Negeri Sembilan, lies 32km east of Seremban, the state capital.
Sri Menanti nestles amid the foothills of a mountain
range in peaceful surroundings. A famous attraction here is the
Sri Menanti Palace, an architectural wonder built in 1905 without
the use of a single nail. A short drive away is the Ulu Bendol Nature
Reserve, a popular picnic spot. For golfers, the Royal Sri Menanti
Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course with tight fairways and hilly
terrain, should be a delightful sight.

Culture lovers should find a visit to the Cultural
Handicraft Centre at Kuala Pilah interesting while anglers could
take a trip to Talang Dam to do a spot of fishing.
Accommodation is available at the 2-star Sri Menanti
Resort, situated next to the Sri Menanti Palace. An excellent transportation
system links KL to Seremban from where Sri Menanti is acc€ssible
by taxi or bus.
